I have had some amazing adventures this year! School is ending, so my travels are ending too. Flat Elyse wishes you a happy, safe summer!
Hi again! I am now in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It’s so beautiful here. I can see tall mountains and I’m not too far from the Pacific Ocean. Vancouver has more that two million people living in and around the city. Vancouver was originally named Gastown but was renamed to Vancouver in 1886. This picture was taken at the airport which gave a good view of some of the mountains. I am continuing my journey to Washington D.C.
Hi! I’m in the nation’s capital Washington D.C. I had a nice view of the Washington Monument. The city of Washington D.C. was founded in 1791. It’s very cold out so I didn’t go exploring but I would love to come back when it’s warm out to see all of the historic sights. I’m am continuing my journey to Buffalo, New York.
Hi again! I am now in Buffalo, New York. I visited a restaurant called “The Blackhorn.” This restaurant was on a show called Diners Drive-ins and Dives. I enjoy seeing new places that have been on TV. I am continuing my journey to someplace new.
I decided to take a trip to a warm tropical destination. I’m right outside Liberia, Costa Rica. Liberia was founded in 1769 and has an average year long temperature of 80 degrees. I’m not too far from the Pacific Ocean, but I am enjoying the scenery of the clouds rolling down the mountains. I am continuing my journey to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
I am now in Syracuse,NY. I at at a Diners Drive-ins & Dives restaurant called Kitty Hoynes Irish Pub. The owners are from Ireland. Their ancestors had a pub, grocery store, and hardware store in Ireland and brought many decorations with them. The sausage was made with wild boar, elk, and venison. The meatloaf was made with beef, lamb, & white Irish pudding. It was delicious. My adventure is continuing to Bellefontaine, OH
I am now in Houston, TX. On my adventure I have been to the Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport. You can see me standing in front of a Boeing which holds close to 300 people and can fly up to 18 hours non-stop. Houston was founded in 1836 and is the forth largest city in the USA by population ( almost 2, 100, 000 people!) My adventure is continuing to Sacramento, CA.
